Es Cavall d'en Borràs is the first beach you encounter when entering the Ses Salines Natural Park in Formentera. Although less well-known than the nearby Ses Illetes, it offers pristine beauty with crystal-clear waters and fine white sand mixed with posidonia. The beach provides stunning views of the islets Es Vedrà and Es Vedranell, making it an ideal spot to enjoy breathtaking sunsets.
Es Cavall d'en Borràs offers some facilities, including popular chiringuitos like Beso Beach and El Tiburón, where visitors can enjoy local dishes and refreshing drinks. The beach features a protected dune system and a lush juniper forest, which enhances its idyllic and natural atmosphere.
The beach is easily accessible via the main road and then a stone and sand path; it’s only about a 10-minute walk from the ferry. There is parking available nearby, but during peak season it can get busy, so arriving early is recommended. Visitors are encouraged to respect the natural environment and use the wooden walkways to protect the dunes.
