Accessibility
Some company details on this page, such as name and address, will be added shortly.
We want everyone to be able to use ibizamap.nl, including if you have low vision, use only a keyboard or rely on a screen reader.
Our goal
We aim for the site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the W3C's international standard for accessible websites.
What we do to get there
- A list next to the map. Everything on the map can also be found in a normal list, with links to a separate page for each place. The list works with a keyboard and a screen reader.
- Keyboard navigation, with a visible focus indicator.
- Enough colour contrast, and information that isn't conveyed by colour alone.
- Descriptive text for photos (alt text).
- A calm screen. Videos play without sound, and if you've set your device to reduce motion, we respect that.
- A clear structure with headings, and text in the language of the page.
What doesn't work well yet
- The interactive map is hard to use with a screen reader. Please use the list view instead; it contains the same places.
- Ads are supplied by advertisers. We check them, but can't guarantee that every ad is fully accessible.
- Other websites we link to are outside our control.
Current status
The site has not yet been tested by an independent party. Once it has, we'll publish the result and the date here.
